Vista Support Specialist

Overview

Provide functional ERP support for Vista, handling tickets, training, and system optimization.

Tasks

-Provide functional support across all Vista modules including Job Cost, Payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Project Management. -Must monitor and analyze data and solve problems on a tactical and strategic level. -Respond to and resolve Vista ERP support tickets in a timely manner, ensuring issues are documented and tracked through to completion. This includes working with internal developers and IT staff, or external consultants, to ensure the end-user request has been addressed. -Perform functional testing for system upgrades (Vista and HFF Portal) and ECS package deployments. -Lead and coordinate Phase 2 implementation projects to expand Vista utilization beyond core accounting functions and provide efficiency in business processes. -Assist with data analysis, error resolution, and process improvement recommendations. -Provide troubleshooting of Crystal Reports, SSRS reports, and Vista inquiries to meet user needs. Coordinate with internal and external developers to provide resolution of issues and track through to completion including functional testing and support for end-user testing. -Assist in developing, maintaining, and delivering end-user training, including during our annual Power Up conference and ongoing training throughout the year -Create and maintain end-user training and functional support documentation.

What You Bring

-Experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), Crystal Reports, or SSRS preferred. -Must have the ability to make sound decisions and produce accurate and timely results in mind. -Must demonstrate integrity, honesty, professionalism, and appropriate concern regarding dissemination of sensitive and confidential information. -Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field. -Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills -Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical users. -Must prioritize and organize work in a fast paced multi-task environment. -Strong understanding of accounting principles and job cost management. -Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, (i.e. Outlook, Word and Excel). -Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. -Experience with Viewpoint Vista ERP software is required. -Experience with Viewpoint Vista is required -Experience supporting mechanical, electrical, or union contracting operations preferred. -5 - 10 years of accounting or ERP support experience, preferably within the construction industry. -Must build positive working relationships with multiple levels of employees and management.
