Recycling Team Leader

Overview

Lead daily operations and staff at a recycling centre, ensuring safety and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Maintain the site safety, rules and efficient use of available resources. -Responsible for the day to day efficient operation of the site -Create a safe place to visit and work. -Work on various sites across the Merseyside & Halton contract -Open and close the site depending on which shift pattern. -Arrange cover for holidays and sickness and check and sign timesheets -Assist the Operations Manager in managing a team of operatives. -Provide excellent customer service and recycling advice to the public. -Maintain filing systems for audits and produce reports

Requirements

• driving licence
• people management
• manual handling
• health & safety

-Full driving licence -People management experience -Previous experience within a similar operational manual handling role -Good Health & Safety knowledge
