Tasks
-Co-ordinate project requirements with all team members, in all disciplines, as required -Provide advisory services and presentations to existing and prospective clients. -Work independently and apply prescriptive requirements of electrical building services engineering codes with minimal supervision -Oversee junior engineers, designers and drafting staff for the preparation of documents -Meet project timelines and budgets -Prepare contract drawings, schedules, details and sketches from conceptual design through to tender and construction -Ensure that document quality follows company standards -Perform detailed site take-offs of existing building systems and conduct routine site reviews -Construction Administration co-ordination, review and issuance of Change Orders, Clarifications and RFI responses as required

What You Bring
We are seeking an Electrical Engineering Lead to spearhead our Toronto expansion. In this role, you will take a leadership position in driving projects forward, collaborating with senior designers and engineers across multiple disciplines to achieve project goals. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and has experience in the design of institutional, industrial, commercial, and healthcare facilities, with a strong understanding of the Ontario engineering market. This position offers significant growth potential and the opportunity to play a key role in shaping our Toronto presence. -Minimum 5 years of experience in the preparation and design of engineering drawings using appropriate standards for power, emergency power, fire alarm, lighting, telecommunications, security, public address and nurse call systems -Registration with the Professional Engineers of Ontario as a licensed professional engineer -Valid driver’s license -Familiarity with standards such as CAN/ULC-S524, CSA Z32, CSA C282 -Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering -PMP designation is desired, but is not required -Demonstrated understanding of construction protocols and processes and a proven ability to interpret drawings and specifications -Strong knowledge of Ontario standards and approvals is required.
