Tasks
Performs preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and general building systems. Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and completes repairs with minimal supervision. Ensures compliance with all safety policies, OSHA standards, and company procedures. Responds to service requests, work orders, and emergency situations promptly. Assists in the installation, replacement, and adjustment of building components and systems. Maintains accurate records of work performed in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). Provides guidance and support to Building Technician I staff as needed. Communicates with building occupants and clients, providing a high level of customer service. What You Bring
2-4 years of experience in building maintenance, facilities services, or mechanical systems. Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and perform physical maintenance tasks. High School Diploma or GED required; technical or trade school certification preferred. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment with moderate complexity. Basic computer skills and experience with CMMS preferred.
