Manage end‑to‑end strategic sourcing for EMEA security and fire products.

Tasks

-Challenge both suppliers and the organization to arrive at the most optimal solution for the supply and/or development of parts and end products. -Supervising or coordinate purchasing processes and supplier selection processes (RFI/RFQ/RFP). -Selection of suppliers. Negotiate with the most suitable suppliers about the purchasing, Legal and logistical conditions. Where applicable, you do this together in a team with key stakeholders for the relevant product groups. -Making spend analyses, benchmarking studies and conducting market research. -Continuous monitoring of possibilities to achieve cost reductions, efficiency improvements, improved payment terms, but also detecting potential risks is part of your tasks. -You play an important role in the growth and development of the department and the company. Together with the other team members you help to achieve our common goals, in particular those focusing on customer satisfaction, supply base improvements and cost reduction. -Project purchasing or new product developments in collaboration with various departments, such as Product Management and Category Management (European or world wide). -Manage Supplier relationships

What You Bring

-You have good oral and written communication skills -Analytical minded -At least five years of tactical/strategic sourcing experience, preferably in Technology and or Wholesale activities -Strong and commercial negotiator -Familiar with MS Office, experienced in Excel
