The Role

Overview

Oversee cleaning and preparation of components, lead team, manage parts and job planning.

Tasks

-Completing Component repair/rebuild quotes -Working with Vendors to have components completed outside of WesTrac. -Responsible for overseeing the cleaning and preparation of components for assembly and repair. -Setting up Job Packs and Planning daily tasks for team members. -Part's management. Ensuring parts have arrived and are in the bay's ready for work completion. -Leading a team to ensure that all components are cleaned to the highest standards, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment, and meeting production deadlines.

What You Bring

-Ability to work night shifts, additional hours and weekends/extra days as required to support the team -Caterpillar product knowledge, component change out experience - Preferred -Machine assembler or Component Technician with experience in multiple components or machines. -Previous leadership experience in a similar role -Experience with Caterpillar Systems (ET, SIS, VIMS) desirable -Strong understanding of component cleanout cleaning processes -Ability to work within a team & autonomously
