The Role

Overview

Plan and supervise preventive, corrective and outage maintenance operations for a manufacturing client.

Tasks

Develop and monitor scheduling activities by implementing and planning preventative, corrective, scheduled outage maintenance work orders and plans and schedules small capital work Perform work by selecting and operating equipment for required testing, measuring or maintenance activities and determining appropriate calibration equipment, methods, and procedures Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following established project procedures relating to safety, work permitting and work order systems; adhering to legal requirements Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards Provide technical supervision and monitor the maintenance operation by planning and implementing specialized maintenance procedures and methods Maintain workflow by requisitioning and expediting materials, equipment and services at optimum levels Adhere to and support Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies Maintain equipment history record by developing/maintaining filing system Manufacturing client seeking a SAP Planner for a contract role to be based very close to New Orleans, Louisiana. Plan, organize, and carry out assignments as directed

What You Bring

Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner Union experience and SAP experience is ideal for the role. A combination of education and directly related experience equal to five (5) years*; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors

Benefits

Typical Minimum Qualifications - Related Education, Experience & Skills Contract expected to last 6-12 months but there is a potential for the role to go direct. Hourly rate and per diem provided for candidates from out of town. Per diem for 7 days a week, but work week is typical 5 days.
