Tasks

-Act as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with environmental standards. -Implement proactive measures to enhance air and waste management controls. -Ensure compliance with industrial hygiene testing and establish continuous improvement plans. -Provide comprehensive training on environmental programs and safety procedures. -Develop and roll out motivational programs to enhance environmental awareness. -Oversee the management of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, ensuring proper handling and disposal. -Engage all levels of the workforce to drive cultural change and meet environmental performance goals. -Present safety and environmental training tailored to site-specific needs. -Conduct incident investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

What You Bring

-5+ years of experience in a safety and environmental role within an industrial setting. -Effective communication and interpersonal skills. -Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Management, or related field. -Experience driving a cultural shift towards safety through engagement and leadership -Familiarity with behavior-based safety programs and ISO 14001 standards. -Strong analytical skills with the ability to implement action plans based on data analysis.
