The Role

Overview

Lead business improvement, project delivery & lean initiatives for new factory.

Tasks

-Driving implementation of Lean processes -Take a strategic view of subcontract package allocation and ensure contractual arrangements are in place -Holds periodic project reviews and ensures Digital Briefcase is updated -Acting as the strategic interface for the new factory build -Coordinate cross discipline develop resource allocations plans in line with future requirements -Leading change management and continuous improvement initiatives -Ensure all work is undertaken with a view towards handover and certification -Ensure procurement plans are available and meet the overall project plans, such that material/resources/supply chain can be delivered to meet scheduled deadlines -Prepare both internal/external reports and liaise with stakeholders -Motivate the team and manage performance (PDRs), undertaking training and mentoring -Managing project action logs and ensuring alignment with delivery objectives

What You Bring

-The ability to see the business vision and inspire this shared vision amongst the team -A record of a solutions based approach to problem solving -A proven ability to lead a team -Holds a formal qualification (BSc/MSc) in management / construction or experience equivalent -Awareness of budget, cost control and cost recovery, setting project targets in line with this -A proven track record of complex project delivery -Commercially astute -Holds either the APM PFQ/PMQ/PPQ -Holds CSCS and SMSTS or Equivalent -Experience in implementing safe systems of work -Good Knowledge of performance evaluation techniques and key metrics -Able to undertake work in high pressure situations
