Tasks

Perform site inspections, including testing, balancing, and commissioning of HVAC systems. Maintain accurate project documentation and generate regular progress reports. Prepare technical submittals, BOQs, and material specifications for consultant approval. Document all site activities and maintain detailed records. Supervise HVAC installation activities to ensure they meet project standards and timelines. Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and electrical engineers to ensure project integration and compatibility. Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure HVAC systems meet expectations. Review project contracts and Bills of Quantity related to HVAC scope. Communicate with project managers and general management for approvals and directives. Job Summary: As an experienced Mechanical HVAC Engineer, you will be responsible for multiple tasks. Such as designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and equipment for construction projects. Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate timely project delivery. Conduct regular site visits to monitor work progress, ensure productivity, and verify compliance with safety regulations. Prepare material requests required for HVAC system installation. Design and prepare HVAC layouts using AutoCAD; proficiency in Revit is a plus. Perform heat load calculations and select equipment based on project specifications and ASHRAE/SMACNA standards. Apply strong knowledge of international and regional HVAC standards, including ASHRAE, SMACNA, and ASME. Contribute to residential, commercial, and mixed-use project designs.

What You Bring

Skilled in AutoCAD; Revit knowledge is advantageous. Education requirements: A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. Experience: At least 5+ years and above of relevant HVAC engineering experience (preferably in the Middle East). Competent in conducting manual and software-based heat load calculations. High attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving mindset. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). In-depth understanding of safety protocols and standards. Experienced in using HVAC design software such as HAP and DuctSizer. Proven experience in residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects. Utilize HVAC design software such as HAP and DuctSizer efficiently. Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
