Overview

Prepare and maintain apartment units for new residents, handling repairs and turnover tasks.

Tasks

-Get apartment homes ready for new move in. -Be available for On-Call Emergencies. -Assist the Service team with work orders. -Communicate with the Service or Make Ready Supervisor about unsafe or hazardous environments on the property. -Ensure all equipment is in working condition.

What You Bring

-Possession of personal tools, required. -Exceptional safety skills. -Possession of personal vehicle, preferred. -1-2 years of experience as a Make-Ready Technician. -Able to work weekends, as needed. -Thorough knowledge of painting, dry wall, and plumbing. Some electrical. -Able to travel, preferred. -1-2 years of Apartment turn over experience. -Understand layout of the property and awareness of equipment locations. -Able to stand, walk and sit for long periods of time. -Knowledge of equipment functions, appliances and ladders. -Physical: Ability to lift, push and pull and carry up to 80 pounds. Physical elements of the job may require frequent standing and walking, squatting, reaching, stooping, climbing stairs/ladders, balancing and carrying.
