M&E Site Manager

Overview

Manage M&E site activities, supervise trades, ensure health & safety, report to PM.

Key Responsibilities

• contractor liaison
• documentation control
• work allocation

• progress reporting

Tasks

-Liaising on a day-to-day basis with other contractors engaged on site. -Ensuring that all required documentation is kept up to date, always filed correctly and available for inspection. -Instructing, directing, controlling, and allocating work to Trade Operatives & Apprentices. -Ensuring that all activities undertaken on site comply with Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality Management requirements. -Ensuring that work is planned and organised so that it can be carried out safely and efficiently. -Liaising with other departmental sections and trades. -Discussing matters related to work with trades operatives and contractors -Carrying out competence assessments, adhering to the specified timetable as set out by the Company -Updating the Project Manager with contract progress and future resource requirements.

What You Bring

-Full UK Driving Licence -Ability to managing changing priorities on site -Experience within the water sector would be highly advantageous, both other industrial sectors will be considered. -Awareness of all Health & Safety practices -Time served and fully qualified in a relevant Electrical or Mechanical trade – City & Guilds, MA or equivalent. -Demonstrable experience at a supervisory level. -First Aid at Work
