CAD Tech III (Houston)

Overview

Assist engineers on CAD projects, data analysis, prototyping, documentation, and testing.

Tasks

-Provide engineering support during construction and post-construction reviews. -Coordinate with permit agencies, system owners, and field leaders to ensure compliance and efficiency. -Conduct root cause analysis of outages and apply engineering principles for mitigation. -Recommend creative solutions to technical challenges. -Collaborate with engineers on technical projects and product development. -Build, assemble, modify, and repair prototypes that bring ideas to life. -Prepare detailed engineering documentation, including reports, drawings, diagrams, and schematics. -Collect, organize, and analyze technical data to drive project success. -Perform precise mathematical calculations based on engineering specifications. -Review client-provided work and assess scope requirements. -Set up and conduct tests, recording data for engineering analysis.

What You Bring

-Experience in Power/Utilities and field data collection. -OR Bachelor’s degree with 1+ year of experience. -OR Associate’s degree with 2+ years of experience. -Education & Experience:High School diploma or equivalent with 4–6 years of related experience. -Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). -Willingness to perform office-based work. -Strong written and verbal communication skills.
