Tasks

-Inventory Management: Maintain a detailed inventory of all IT assets, including hardware and software. -Compliance: Ensure all assets comply with organizational policies and vendor contracts. -Policy Development: Create and implement policies for asset management. -Budget Planning: Ensure the IT department’s budget is adhered to, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. -Data Management: Maintain databases and records of licenses, service agreements, and warranties. -Cost Optimization: Develop strategies to optimize technology spending and eliminate waste. -Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of IT assets, from acquisition to disposal. -Procurement: Coordinate the acquisition of new assets based on organizational needs. -Financial Analysis: Conduct cost-benefit analyses and financial forecasting to support decision-making.
