Tasks
-Prepare and manage all site documentation required for project delivery, including PMP, PVPMP, ITPs, and Work Package Plans (RAMS); -Apply and uphold Health, Safety, and Environmental procedures as outlined in project plans, fostering a culture of safety on site; -Oversee and coordinate internal teams and subcontractors to ensure effective resource management; -Develop and review project plans, specifications, and construction drawings; -Proactively identify and resolve engineering and construction-related issues; -Monitor productivity and delays, analyse trends, and recommend corrective actions; -Monitor progress, report performance, and ensure achievement of project milestones within assigned responsibilities; -Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges throughout the project lifecycle; -Develop and review construction method statements to promote safe and efficient execution of works; -Contribute to project planning and scheduling to optimize delivery timelines; -Lead and manage the civil piling aspects of a project, including planning, design, and construction phases for the piling works; -Ensure all works are executed in compliance with HS&E legislation and site-specific plans. Lead the preparation and review of risk assessments; -Coordinate with project managers, design engineers, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless project execution; -Ensure that all engineering activities adhere to industry standards, best practices, and company policies; -Ensure all construction activities comply with contractual obligations, design specifications, drawings, and the Project Management Plan (PMP); -Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, promoting continuous improvement and professional development; -Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality and regulatory requirements; -Promote and support behavioural safety initiatives across the site; -Manage construction records, including O&M manuals and as-built drawings.

What You Bring
-Possess SMSTS or SSSTS; -Strong IT skills - focused on Excel/Word/PowerPoint; -Ability to lead, communicate and influence others to deliver targets; -Experience in delivery of civil engineering contracts on various scales; -Ability to manage multiple scheme costs; -Hold a CSCS card. -Experience working for a piling, ground engineering or civils subcontractor; -2+ years’ experience in the construction industry; -Ability to manage multiple teams efficiently; -Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with people at all levels across the organisation and externally; -Ability to manage Health and Safety including Behavioural Safety; -A Civil Engineering degree (or equivalent).
