Tasks
-Assist in updating and maintaining the Development Accounting Policies and Procedures Manual. -Support members of their team, including coworkers and managers, by taking full responsibility for their own work. -Provide accurate and timely financial information as required internally and externally by management and other departments -Support monthly forecasting & proforma process -Support annual budgeting process. -Support operational reporting including forecasting, cash management, fees, etc. -Complete all job functions accurately, efficiently, and by the assigned deadlines. -Support operational and financial dashboard reporting -Utilize and develop skills such as problem solving, decision making, time management, effective communication, and delegation to achieve the desired results. -Assist in the design and implementation of internal controls related to development activity. -Add value by providing accurate and timely financial information that helps the development team better manager projects and budgets, make timely decisions, provide meaningful financial reports, and monitor cash flows. -Support financial working paper files and financial statement reporting -Backfill and support where require within the Development Accounting team -Prepare project working papers files including supporting variance analysis

What You Bring
-Specialized computer skills in a range of software including: Yardi, AI, BI platforms and Microsoft Office. -Advanced excel -Effective communication, written and verbal -Minimum 1-3 years working in a financial reporting position -Effective Decision Making within level of authority -Teamwork, ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships -Problem Solving and analytical Skills -Minimum 1-3 years accounting experience in a development accounting environment
