Tasks
-Accountable for identifying, and mitigating commercial risks -Line Manager for a group of Business Managers on a day-to-day basis, providing functional leadership, coaching and mentoring -Identify and qualify new business opportunities -Oversee business development efforts across key defence, engineering, and technology sectors, aligning with strategic objectives -Provide accurate forecasting and reporting of pipeline, performance, and market intelligence to senior leadership. -Build and manage long-term client relationships, becoming a trusted advisor and first point of contact.

-Organised professional with a strategic mindset and a results-driven attitude. -Skillful in enhancing business development and boosting sales, ideally within Defence/Land Domain, but applicable to wider defence, engineering, or technology sectors -Skillful communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills -Existing network within defence primes, government agencies, or related industries -Ability to engage with technical teams and translate complex offerings into compelling business value -Background in consulting would be advantageous. -Experience with framework agreements and public sector bids
