  • Conduct quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment
  • Track project progress and prepare status reports for senior management
  • Maintain project documentation and ensure proper record-keeping
  • Support field operations and problem-solving activities
  • Prepare and review project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and trade partners
  • Perform quality control inspections and ensure compliance with safety protocols
  • Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
  • Assist Project Managers in planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects from pre-construction through completion
  • Assist with change order processing and documentation

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations
  • Ability to work in industrial environments and outdoor conditions
  • Knowledge of local building codes and permit processes
  • 2+ years of experience in construction project management or engineering
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with OSHA 30-Hour certification
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Knowledge of Indiana Department of Education facility standards
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
  • Experience with public bidding processes and prevailing wage requirements
  • Proficiency in construction software (Procore, Primavera P6, AutoCAD, Microsoft Project)
  • Experience with educational, municipal, or institutional construction projects
