Tasks

Offer guidance and support to internal colleagues in respect of A2Dominions contractual relationship with external managing agents with reference to the headlease and current legislation. Responsible for supporting the delivery of the Managing Agents Project for the effective and efficient management of a portfolio of external managing agents. Continued engagement with third parties and managing agents to build relationships and ensure a collaborative working environment. Ensure the terms of the managing agreements and leases are adhered too and met by all parties. -Act as an escalation point for our front-line staff and property management teams when they are experiencing difficulties with third party owners and managing agents -Report on performance and compliance for third party owners and managing agents -Support our front-line teams and property managers to work effectively where third party owned or managing agents are present on our schemes -Work collectively with other members of the project team to ensure of compliance, and visibility and accessibility to information -Provide assistance and support to other roles in the team to cover staff shortages or high level demand -Use data to identify, evaluate and implement service improvements to increase resident satisfaction and value for money -Ensure that third parties and managing agents are carrying out their legal and contractual obligations -Ensure that A2D are complying with their legal responsibilities and not carrying out works for which they are not liable, and Managing Agents are held accountable for their obligations. -Dispute resolution on behalf of A2Dominion with third party owners and or managing agents. -Provide internal colleagues with guidance in respect to A2D responsibilities designated within the terms of the headlease -Oversee and lead contract management for our agreements and management arrangements with third party owners and managing agents -Hold regular meetings with key stakeholders in relation to performance and working practices -Improve working relationships to set up effective and efficient working practices in the best interests of A2Dominion

What You Bring

-High Attention to detail -Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written. -Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and colleagues. -Able to prioritise and work in an organised manner -Experience of managing internal and external relationships effectively -Good understanding of leasehold block management in the private sector and working with managing agents both directly employed and appointed by superior landlords -Hold (or working towards) a professional qualification such as RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors), ARLA Property mark, TPI (The Property Institute (Formerly IRPM)), or CIH (Chartered Institute of Housing). -Working knowledge of Landlord and Tenant Acts, Statutory Instruments and Regulations. -Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in Maths and English (Grades A*- C) -Ability to work effectively under pressure and to meet deadlines and targets.

Salary: £34,800 - £36,631 Lease reading- -Up to 8% contributory pension -Investment in your learning and development. -25 days’ holiday (Plus Bank Holidays) increasing up to 28 days with 3 years of service -Flexible working
