Traveling Facilities Maintenance Technician

Overview

Traveling tech repairs/maintains paving equipment on-site nationwide.

Tasks

-Provide service and support during site visits, offering assistance to clients as needed. -Collaborate with the Project Manager and Superintendent to assess project needs and ensure the successful completion of projects. -Uphold quality standards while completing work in a timely and efficient manner. -Act as a company representative, working directly with clients to resolve issues and meet expectations. -Support general duties related to asphalt paving, patching, or prep work on various crews. -Perform on-site repairs for our paving clients, ensuring quality work and customer satisfaction. -Complete daily safety assessments and inspections to ensure the safety of the team and job site. -Cultivate a positive work environment by adhering to and enforcing company policies and procedures. -Follow OSHA guidelines and company safety requirements to maintain a safe working environment. -Maintain and troubleshoot paving equipment and assist with ongoing project maintenance.

What You Bring

-Valid driver’s license required. -Eligible/Required for driving a company vehicle -Experience operating heavy equipment is a plus. -High school diploma or equivalent. -Strong communication and interpersonal skills. -Ability to travel to different states year-round, staying on the road as needed to support projects nationwide. -Entry-level positions are available; 1-3 years of experience in asphalt or paving is preferred.
