Overview

Provide 2nd/3rd line IT support, mentor 1st line staff and manage servers, networks and devices.

Tasks

-Handling escalated support tickets from 1st line -Supporting Microsoft 365 and device management through Intune and Endpoint Manager -Documenting fixes and helping build internal knowledge bases -Managing installation, upgrades and system maintenance tasks -Troubleshooting and resolving complex software, hardware and network issues -Administering Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy and user permissions -Providing guidance and support to the wider IT team

What You Bring

-Experience in a 2nd or 3rd line support role -Good understanding of networking including routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs and firewalls -Confident troubleshooting more advanced technical issues -Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory and Microsoft 365 administration -Able to follow through on problems and take responsibility for outcomes -Familiarity with virtualisation platforms such as VMware or Hyper V -Clear communicator who can explain issues in a straightforward way
