Overview

Manage O&M team for electrical infrastructure, ensuring safety, budgets, and customer liaison

Tasks

-Should prepare O&M bills & get approvals from Customer based on site progress -Should be aware about EHS practices & ensure all activities are carried out in line with EHS requirements -Manage Maintenance team that meets agreed objectives and which delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements. -Monitor usage of tools and equipment and ensure tools are readily available for assigned tasks. -Responsibility for budget control, spares management, site contracts management and the on-going improvement of the maintenance systems. -Assessing procedures and making recommendations for improvement. -Monitor and follow-up on vendor activities, highlight potential delays. To ensure that corrective actions are taken to minimize/manage the delays/damages. -Establish, implement, train, and monitor maintenance guidelines for the maintenance teams. -Support, comply and ensure complicity with Health & Safety regulations, the Company Handbook, Quality and Environmental standards, and all other Company policies and procedures.

What You Bring

-Should be able to study & understand SLD, GA, schematic dwgs & co-relate with site requirements -Understanding of compliances pertaining to EHS, Labour laws etc. -Should have knowledge about labour laws & HR compliances -Good communication skills & Customer orientation. -Good working knowledge of MS Office software’s like MS word, MS Excel & Power point. -Graduate Electrical Engineer with min. 7 years or Diploma with 10 years of experience in Operation, Maintenance and Testing of AIS (up to 33kV) / GIS Panel (up to 220kV) Substation including Transformer, Panel, Switchyard Bay, CRP, Earthing System etc. Supervisory license is required. -Should have good planning & problem solving skills to ensure completion of activities as per Customer timelines -Proficiency in Medium & Low Voltage products / Systems / Retrofits / Relays & Protection Systems -Clear understanding of customer requirement with effective communication with all internal & external stakeholders -Understanding scope of work as per approved PO once order is handed over. -Should have in-dept knowledge & experience in unloading, lifting, shifting & installations of heavy equipments viz. transformers & panels -Good knowledge about MV/LV panels, transformers, cables, cable trays, switchgears etc -Ability to manage a variety of cross-functional team members. Communicate with Customer, Vendors and other stakeholders. -EHS certification -B.E./B. Tech in Electrical Engineering -Skill Set- Site Management, Testing of Electrical System, Presentation Skills, MS Office, Supervisory License of state of Maharashtra. -Should be able to handle Customer escalations & perform in tougher situations -Cross functional collaboration and effective customer management skills are extremely important. -Good communication and conflict management skills. -Have clear written and oral communication skills. -We seek are a positive ‘can-do’ attitude, a pro-activeness, “thinking out of the box” with a broad horizon, an aptitude for hard work. -Have ability to independently handle complete site including Contractor manpower
