Overview
Assist in operating equipment, maintain site safety, and perform general labor tasks.

Tasks
-While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts, frequently walks on uneven surfaces, including natural ground and slopes, in varying weather conditions, and is regularly exposed to wet, humid condition airborne particles, and extreme heat or cold. -Employee regularly works with or near heavy equipment and moving machinery. -Help lubricate and perform general maintenance on the equipment. -Report to the assigned job site in proper work attire ready to begin work at the designated start time. -Clean up around plant and surrounding area. -Work can be performed at heights, requiring the employee to climb and balance in ladders, scaffolds and stair towers, often with narrow steps and passageways. -Actively participate in weekly safety meetings (Tool Box Talks) -While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms. -Work is performed outdoors, on a job site, in extreme weather conditions and for extended hours.

What You Bring
-Must be able to carry, lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs without assistance -Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form is required to complete tasks in an efficient and safe manner. -Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required. -Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to hear and speak effectively to customers or employees of organization. -The ability to pass a pre-employment screening and testing -Strict adherence to all company policies and procedures as outlined in the book of company policies. -Previous experience helping operating or working around heavy equipment. -Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs. -Vision abilities required by this job include color, close, and distance vision, as well as peripheral, depth, and focus perception vision. -Ability to help operate various pieces of equipment, accurately, efficiently and safely. -Regularly required to sit and/or stand during a work shift of at least eight hours per day, on uneven surfaces, including natural ground and slopes in varying weather conditions. -Ability to operate equipment under extreme temperatures and for extended hours. -Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times. -High school diploma or general education degree (GED). -Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required. -Strict adherence to all Safety Practices & Procedures. -This position requires walking, standing, sitting, bending, twisting, sitting, stooping, kneeling, crawling, crouching, and lifting. -Must be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary. -Valid driver’s license and clean driving record -Must be able to work a flexible schedule, based on project needs and demands. -Ability to follow directions.
