Tasks
-Collaborate with the HR Director to shape and execute a forward-thinking HR strategy aligned with MJ Quinn’s business goals. -Support the HR Director in delivering Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) strategies and embedding inclusive practices. -Ensure consistency and quality across HR documentation, advice, and case handling. -Develop and lead initiatives that foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture. -Lead the development and implementation of HR policies and frameworks that support business objectives. -Drive continuous improvement across HR processes, systems, and service delivery. -Line manage HR Managers and Advisors, providing coaching, development, and performance oversight -Work with the Head of L&D to identify skills gaps and develop targeted learning interventions. -Ensure full compliance with UK employment legislation and internal HR policies. -Support the Head of L&D to design and implement a company-wide L&D strategy covering compliance training, leadership development, technical upskilling, and career progression. -Work with the L&D team to promote internal mobility and leadership readiness through structured development programmes. -Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing HR team. -Collaborate with Recruitment, L&D, and Communications to ensure joined-up people strategies. -Provide expert guidance to senior leaders on complex HR matters including employee relations, performance management, and engagement strategies. -Drive continuous improvement of HR systems, including data analytics and reporting tools to support strategic decision-making. -Work with the Head of L&D and Head of Recruitment, to develop and maintain talent pipelines and succession plans for critical roles across the organisation. -Oversee the delivery of core HR services such as onboarding, absence management, disciplinary and grievance procedures, and exit processes. -Lead workforce planning, organisational development, and change management initiatives across all business units. -Manage employee engagement programmes including surveys, action planning, and recognition schemes. -Manage escalated HR cases and provide expert guidance to HR Advisors and Managers. -Ensure continuous professional development and capability building within the HR function. -Foster a collaborative, service-oriented team culture that supports business needs.
