Tasks

-Liaising with local corporate tax teams with regard to the tax lifecycle (including a tax accounts reconciliation, return to accruals and etc) and be the interface with finance, auditors, tax agents, corporate tax team and other internal stakeholder. -Analyzing financial data and transactions to identify potential tax risks and opportunities. -Assisting with tax audits and responding to tax authorities' inquiries or requests for information. -Collaborating with internal teams, including finance and legal, to ensure tax compliance in all aspects of business operations. -Participating in cross-functional projects and initiatives related to tax optimization and process improvement. -Assist with the preparation and filing of corporate tax returns for Indian companies. -Respond to tax inquiries from internal and external stakeholders. -Preparing and analyzing of financial data, legal documents and other relevant info required for local tax filings/tax audits and any other statutory requirement. -Supporting the preparation of transfer pricing documentation and compliance. -Calculate tax provisions and deferred tax liabilities.

What You Bring

-Have computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office. Knowledge in ERP (SAP, Oracle) is an added advantage. -Demonstrate expertise and experience in tax accounting (corporate income tax/deferred taxes) with good analytical skill. -Have Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification (ACCA/CPA/ etc). Have minimum 4-5 years corporate tax experience in large multinational, accounting firm (knowledge of other taxes is a plus)
