Tasks

-Submits design for peer review or approval review in an accurate and timely manner to avoid construction delays on the project site. Seals personal and team designs following approval review. -Conducts forensic analysis for post-construction items to support claims mitigation and dispute resolutions. -Designs and drafts construction methods for temporary works (falsework, shoring, temporary bridges, formwork, slopes, etc.), ensuring completeness and accuracy with regulatory standards and within the contract specifications. -Provides constructability and technical design input on temporary works construction designs to ensure compliance with contract specifications and regulatory requirements. -Reviews personal and peer design elements to optimize project constructability, cost effectiveness and material quantities.

What You Bring

-Professional Engineering License (PE/PENG) required. -Able and driven to mentor developing engineering team. Able to set clear expectations and support team to reach Company and departmental goals . -Clear, concise and efficient technical writing skills used in calculation packages. -Internal Training Crane level I, II and III preferred. -Proven success with creative, innovative and optimization strategies for construction challenges. -Proven knowledge of temporary works construction practices and constructability innovation techniques. -Strong verbal, written and presentation skills. Proven interpersonal skills used to defend, clarify and explain construction strategies and designs -Proven knowledge of AutoCAD, RISA suite, LARSA and MathCAD required. -Able to self-prioritize and track individual work with limited oversight. -Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Structural or related Engineering field required.
