Tasks

-Support plant integrity management programs, including inspection tracking and condition monitoring. -Prepare technical documentation, procedures, and reports. -Conduct field walkdowns and engineering assessments under supervision. -Participate in hazard reviews and safety audits. -Assist in reviewing, as-building and updating engineering drawings, control loop diagrams, safety systems, including safety interlocks and emergency shutdown logic. -Contribute to HMI/control system improvements in collaboration with operations and automation teams.

What You Bring

-Solid written communication skills to complete the required paperwork. -Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google workspace. -Experience or familiarity with PLC programming is an asset -Ability to multi-task, exercise good judgment and think proactively. -Excellent problem-solving and teamwork skills. -Excellent customer service skills, with strong work ethic and positive attitude to represent the GFL brand effectively and favorably. -Currently enrolled in the third or fourth year of a Mechanical or Chemical Engineering program -Possess effective verbal communication skills to interact with Company staff, contractors, and customers.
