Tasks
-Effectively manage project controls teams, all associated disciplines and related tasking. -Conduct schedule risk analyses to identify and assess potential schedule impacts and develop contingency plans. -Evaluate proposed changes to project scope, schedule, and budget, assessing their potential impact on project objectives. -Develop project schedules in collaboration with project teams, considering resource availability, dependencies, and constraints. -Track project expenditures against approved budgets, identifying variances, and implementing corrective actions as needed. -Analyze EVM data to assess project performance, identify trends, and forecast future performance. -Monitor and assess project risks throughout the project lifecycle, implementing risk response strategies as needed. -Assist in the development of project budgets and cost estimates, ensuring alignment with project objectives and requirements. -Identify potential risks and uncertainties that could impact project outcomes and develop risk management plans to mitigate these risks.

What You Bring
-Transit industry experience is highly preferred. Experience working with and understanding the business operations of typical transit agencies/organizations preferred. -Excellent computer skills in cost & scheduling software (i.e. Primavera or Microsoft Project), Windows and Microsoft Office applications (emphasis on Excel and Outlook). -Can independently perform difficult and complex controls tasks relating to all project control disciplines including but not limited to Earned Value Management (EVM), Risk Management, Change Management, Cost control, Scheduling Management, Content/Data Management. -Normally requiring a Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or a related field as well as 10+ years of related field experience in controls tasks highlighted above. A complete and deep understanding of controls tasks and their subcategories is required. -Strong verbal and written communication
