Lead accounting, reporting, budgeting, and analysis for real estate investment portfolio.

Tasks

-Recording of escrows, capital expenditures, depreciation, and equity contributions/distributions -Review lender and operational agreements ensuring all reporting requirements are met -Maintain asset additions/disposals and reconcile balance in fixed asset system to general ledger -Property budgeting and forecasting -Calculate monthly/quarterly member distributions per operating agreements -Utilize technology in a forward-thinking manner to continue to drive new business efficiencies and investor solutions. -Serve as a trusted information resource to investment partners, multiple third-party service providers, and the internal operations, asset management, and acquisitions team -Assist in creating and executing detailed financial analysis and assigned departmental projects. -Bank and credit card reconciliations

What You Bring

-Ad-hoc analysis -Ability to sit at a desk for 8+ hours a day -CPA preferred -Proficiency in Entrata or similar property management accounting software preferred -Previous real estate accounting experience within the areas of private investment and/or property management strongly preferred -5+ years of accounting experience -Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or economics -Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
