Overview
Maintain property safety, repairs, and resident services for student housing

Tasks
-Adhere to OSHA and other safety standards, participating in ongoing safety training and maintaining up-to-date safety logs. -Manage the inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies, ensuring proper levels are maintained, and keep storage areas secure at all times. -At applicable properties, maintain pools and spas, including cleaning and equipment maintenance, and stay compliant with local pool certification requirements. -Conduct regular inspections of the grounds, buildings, and equipment to identify and address potential issues before they become larger problems. -Perform a variety of maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical repairs, painting, and appliance fixes, ensuring all units and public areas are well-maintained. -Respond promptly to resident requests and complaints, following up as needed to maintain a positive living environment. -Be available for off-hours emergency maintenance calls according to scheduling, ensuring timely responses to both resident and property emergencies. -Maintain the appearance, safety, and overall condition of the property, reporting any unusual or concerning circumstances to the maintenance supervisor and management. -Uphold a professional appearance and demeanor while on duty, representing the company to residents and vendors. -Complete resident work orders efficiently, ensuring timely and high-quality service that complies with company repair and maintenance policies. -Clean up thoroughly after completing repairs in occupied and vacant apartments, ensuring a tidy and professional work environment. -Work with contractors and vendors as directed, ensuring compliance with company standards and verifying the quality, quantity, and price of delivered supplies. -Communicate regularly with the maintenance supervisor and general manager to provide updates on maintenance activities, and attend staff and safety meetings.

What You Bring
-Be proficient in working with technology and adaptable to online systems. -A minimum of 1 year of maintenance experience, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical, -High school graduate or equivalent, -Carbon Literacy Certification or willingness to undertake training -Air conditioning and refrigeration certification by an EPA approved testing organization preferred -Pool maintenance certification, if required by local regulation preferred -EPA type II and above certification preferred -Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to build and maintain quality relationships
