Tasks

-Understanding and applying the appropriate level of quality and governance to the deterministic analysis and any associated submissions. -Providing support to the engineering disciplines enabling them to use deterministic considerations as input to their design decisions. -Working with the engineering disciplines to ensure that the design meets the deterministic analysis requirements and working with them to close out any gaps. -Delivering aspects of the development and maintenance of the deterministic analysis programme as part of the overall nuclear safety case delivery programme. -Undertaking and presenting the deterministic analysis in support of licensing efforts.

What You Bring

-Experience in the production of deterministic analysis documentation including fault schedules. -Obtaining Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance -Satisfactory completion of a basic financial probity check -Experience in the use of deterministic analysis to support the design of a Nuclear Power Plant. -Satisfactory completion of a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check -Good communication and interpersonal skills to be able to represent the project both internally and externally. -Knowledge of PWR plant design and operation.
