Tasks

-Participate in or lead HR projects and initiatives as assigned -Conduct interviews, assess candidate qualifications, and participate in the selection process. -Partner with Talent team to identify formal learning opportunities for employees based on skill gaps and business needs. -Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations. -Utilize an empathetic approach to understanding employee concerns, answer questions and help employees through organizational change. -Coach and counsel employees, front line leaders and managers on employee relation matters, performance management and conflict resolution. -Partner with the Employee Engagement Committee and Watts Cares to coordinate various employee engagement and community activities. -Provides support in compliance areas of human resources including but not limited to employee relations, job evaluation, compensation management, benefits administration, training, AA/EEO, leave management and ADA. -Assist in the implementation of individual development plans and performance improvement plans as needed. -Conduct investigations into employee complaints, providing recommendations for resolution. Partner with the HR Director and the legal team as appropriate for all ethics related issues. -Drive employee relations, performance management and engagement activities -Generate HR reports and analytics such as headcount reports, performance reports and more. -Participate in the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring partnership with managers for seamless integration by creating immersion plans, drafting new hire announcements, and completing other new hire tasks. -Collaborate with managers to understand staffing needs while partnering with Talent Acquisition to facilitate recruitment efforts. -Partner with the HR Director to support the performance management process, providing guidance to managers and employees on performance expectations and development opportunities.

What You Bring

-Strong organizational and time management skills. -Strong collaboration skills and ability to project manage within a larger Americas HR organization -Relationship management and demonstrated ability to establish trust and credibility with designated employee group(s) -Data-driven, analytical mindset -Experience using HRIS systems for data management and data metrics to guide decisions. Workday experience preferred. -Professional HR certification a strong plus. -Outstanding verbal, written and presentation communication skills -Ability to problem-solve and analyze situations to identify potential issues and propose solutions to mitigate risks. -Demonstrated ability to train management skills and manager accountability -Maintains a high level of visibility, accessibility, and interaction with client groups. -Enables and embodies curiosity with a strong desire to grow professionally, expanding HR professional toolkit -5+ years of HR experience -Maintains highest level of integrity, ethics and confidentiality, flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and projects -Ability to interpret company goals, strategies and values to inspire an inclusive and engaged workforce -Bachelor’s Degree in Human resources or related field is required -Demonstrated ability to effectively partner with all levels of the organization, driving communication and change management
