Tasks

-Liaise with other disciplines within the region, providing particular expertise on fire engineering as appropriate; -Prepare, oversee and review project reports for clients summarising key issues and strategically advising on best outcomes under supervision.You will be accountable for significant and complex activities or projects. This will require you to be responsible for managing project staff, quality, delivery, predicting and planning future resources; -Project Engineer / Manager on all types of fire engineering projects, providing detailed technical input across a broad range of projects within the fire engineering business and related areas. -Contributes to the development of others through sharing expertise, demonstrates design/supervisory experience; -You will represent Arup at internal and external meetings including leading approvals negotiations and be a competent communicator;

What You Bring

-Has extensive knowledge of specialist areas and keeps up to date with current industry information and own knowledge and skills; -Membership of relevant professional institutions/professional peer bodies or significant credit towards eligibility for membership; -Able to review the technical calculations of others. -Recognised relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, specialising in Fire Engineering or similar area; -Close to being chartered and NER or demonstrates relevant experience
