Tasks

-Communicate project updates and milestones to stakeholders. -Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and project requirements. -Review construction plans and specifications. -Document and report any deviations from project requirements -Address any issues or concerns that arise during construction. -Keep detailed records of daily activities and produce regular progress reports for project management. -Conduct on-site, documented observation to monitor construction progress, quality, and general compliance with design plans and specifications. -Performs basic surveying, testing and quantity measurements

What You Bring

-Capable of working outside in the field and, at times, in remote locations at the project site for the duration of the project -Formal education in civil engineering, construction technology or civil engineering technology preferred -Travel to and from the project site for extended periods of time. Possibly longer assignments may be required up to months at a time. -3+ years of experience in civil engineering inspection or heavy construction-related work -Strong communication, both verbal and written -Must have a valid driver’s license and an insurable driving record -Strong technical knowledge of construction site practices and safety protocols
