The Role

Overview

Assist lead installer with granite countertop installation and related tasks.

Tasks

-Interact with customers in a courteous and professional manner, addressing any questions or concerns they may have during the installation process. -Properly handle and operate hand tools and equipment used in granite installation, such as drills, saws, and grinders, under the supervision of the lead installer. -Support the lead installer in all aspects of granite countertop installation, including lifting, carrying, and positioning granite pieces. -Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries on the job site. -Help prepare job sites by carrying materials, setting up tools, and ensuring the area is clean and organized. -Ensure the quality of installations by carefully following instructions, measuring accurately, and paying attention to detail. -Work collaboratively with other team members to complete installations efficiently and to the highest standards.

What You Bring

-Clean driving record and valid driver licence. -Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks repeatedly throughout the workday. -Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. -Keen eye for detail to ensure precise measurements and accurate installation. -Openness to learning new skills and techniques related to granite installation. -Willingness to have overnight stays when jobs are located far from the office. -Punctuality and dependability are essential for this role. -While prior experience in granite installation is beneficial, it is not required. Training will be provided to the right candidate.
