Tasks
-Support equipment changeovers, calibrations, and validations as required. -Perform routine and reactive mechanical maintenance on production and utility equipment. -Support implementation of site-wide capability frameworks and upskilling initiatives. -Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with site SOPs, GMP, and safety regulations. -Participate in daily shift handovers and weekly team meetings. -Complete documentation (e.g., CMMS, logbooks, work orders) to required standards. -Contribute to root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPAs). -Work closely with cross-functional teams including E&I technicians, operations, and quality. -Troubleshoot mechanical faults and carry out repairs in a timely manner to minimize downtime. -Support training and mentoring of junior technicians where applicable. -Identify opportunities for equipment reliability improvements and cost savings. -Participate in audits and inspections, providing technical input and documentation as needed. -Maintain accurate records of work performed in line with GMP and ALCOA+ principles.

What You Bring
-Minimum 3 years’ experience in a maintenance role within a GMP/pharmaceutical environment. -Recognized Mechanical Trade Qualification (e.g., QQI Level 6 or equivalent). -Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, regulated environment. -Experience with cleanroom environments and aseptic processes. -Knowledge of EHS standards and participation in safety audits. -Strong communication and problem-solving skills. -Familiarity with CMMS systems (e.g., SAP, Maximo) and GMP documentation practices. -Strong understanding of mechanical systems including pumps, valves, HVAC, and utilities. -Flexibility to work across shifts and respond to out-of-hours callouts if required.
