Overview

Create and coordinate MEP AutoCAD/Revit drawings for HVAC, plumbing, electrical projects.

Tasks

Participate in BIM coordination meetings to update models and drawings. -Maintain version control and proper documentation of drawings. -Ensure LOD (Level of Detail) compliance as per project requirements. -Coordinate with architects, structural, and other disciplines to resolve clashes and ensure integrated drawings. -Prepare detailed shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings. -Modify drawings based on engineer/consultant comments and resubmit for approval. -Develop 2D AutoCAD and 3D Revit drawings for mechanical (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting), electrical, and ELV systems. -Assist in preparing builders’ work drawings and penetration details. -Develop and update Revit models for coordination, clash detection, and quantity extraction. -Update as-built drawings upon project completion. -Provide clear drawings to site execution teams for accurate installation. -Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, consultant standards, and local authority codes (DEWA, DCD, etc.).

What You Bring

We are looking for an experienced MEP Draftsman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in AutoCAD and Revit, have a strong understanding of MEP systems, and be capable of producing accurate, coordinated drawings to support seamless project execution. -Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and standards. -Knowledge of MEP Standard calculations (Hydraulic Head, External static head, domestic Pump sizing, sump pump sizing, cable tray sizing) -Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP. -Minimum 5–8 years of experience in MEP drafting (at least 2–3 years in UAE/GCC preferred). -Familiarity with BIM workflows, clash detection (Navisworks), and coordination processes. -Good communication and team collaboration skills. -Diploma / ITI in Drafting, Engineering, or equivalent. -Ability to read and understand structural and architectural details and identify MEP services routes and requirements. -Knowledge of pipe sizing & duct sizing standards & requirements for plumbing & HVAC -Knowledge of local authority requirements (DEWA, ADDC, DCD, DM, etc.).
