Tasks

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Engineering Manager’s from Water Sector. This role will be responsible for ensuring the cost-effective and timely delivery of detailed engineering solutions, managing engineering quality and productivity, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The Engineering Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, foster knowledge-sharing across disciplines, and uphold the highest standards of engineering excellence. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and inspiring his or her team to achieve their performance metrics. Your role will involve strategizing, project management, part staff management. Your collaborative attitude and interpersonal skills will help you thrive as an Engineering Manager. -Lead the continuous improvement of engineering processes through standardization, automation, and knowledge sharing across disciplines. -Engage with external stakeholders such as clients, vendors, consultants, and contractors to ensure engineering requirements are met and issues are addressed. -Collaborate with internal teams (projects, planning, procurement, QC, construction, etc.) to ensure seamless integration and timely execution of engineering tasks. -Establish and enforce quality standards for design and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance. -Ensure that the engineering process aligns with project timelines and delivers high-quality designs that meet specifications. -Identify training and development needs, providing mentoring and coaching to support career growth and skill enhancement. -Lead, motivate, and develop the engineering team, ensuring high performance, engagement, and retention. -Establish measurable goals for team members and conduct performance reviews to ensure alignment with organizational objectives. -Ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of engineering solutions by reviewing and approving engineering schedules and MIS reports. -Oversee the resolution of complex engineering challenges, providing guidance and additional resources as needed. -Promote and implement risk and value engineering practices to achieve cost-effective designs.

What You Bring

-Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions. -Ability to manage cross-functional teams and foster a culture of collaboration. -Engineering degree (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related fields). -Strategic thinking with the ability to align engineering goals with business objectives. -Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to mentor and inspire teams. -Strong background in managing engineering teams, project schedules, and deliverables. -Expertise in engineering design, quality control, and process improvement. -Minimum of 15 - 20 years of experience in engineering leadership roles, with a proven track record of managing large-scale engineering projects.
