Overview
Manage geotechnical and CQA projects from design through field execution.

Tasks
-Provide recommendations for foundation design, slope stability, and earth retention systems. -Perform geotechnical analysis and assessments to determine soil and rock properties. -Review project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure adherence to timelines and financial constraints. -Implement and oversee quality control measures to ensure the highest standards in geotechnical engineering practices. -Review and approve design documents, calculations, and reports. -Work will include be in the field site visits involving long-term standing and frequent walking as well as include common hazards at construction and project sites. -Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure compliance with specifications. -Conduct feasibility studies and prepare geotechnical reports. -Manage and oversee geotechnical engineering and CQA projects from initiation to completion. -Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including civil engineers, architects, and environmental specialists. -Identify potential risks and challenges associated with geotechnical aspects of projects. -Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to address project requirements and concerns. -Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.

What You Bring
-This position will be subject to outside environmental conditions, including weather conditions such as wet and /or humid environments, extreme cold and/or heat, dusty and noisy work environments. -Proficient in geotechncal analysis software and other relevant engineering tools. -Must have the ability to see, smell, hear, talk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel and twist, crouch, crawl, reach, grasp, sit, stand, and walk. -Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. -4+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering, with a focus on project management. -Strong knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations. -Professional Engineer (PE) license is required. -Must be able to walk over rough and uneven terrain and be able to stand up to 8 hours a day on occasion. -Must be able to carry, lift and push/pull up to 20 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
