Overview

Senior Authorised Person for HV/LV projects on UKPN network in East England.

Tasks

-Isolate and earth high voltage apparatus safely -Plan and execute HV switching schedules using PowerOn and other DNO tools -Attend client meetings and resolve operational issues -Ensure compliance with UKPN safety standards, M Group policies, and HSE legislation -Mentor junior engineers and support project planning -Develop and implement safety documentation and method statements -Issue Permits to Work, Sanctions for Test, and Limitations of Access

What You Bring

-SAP authorisation at 11kV, 33kV, or 132kV on a UK DNO network (e.g., UKPN, SSE, SPEN, ENWL) -HNC / Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent -Strong knowledge of electrical engineering, safety regulations, and outage planning -Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills -Experience in substation construction, HV commissioning, or network maintenance -Full UK driving licence - travel required across East Anglia and surrounding counties and regular attendance at our Stevenage office
