The Role
Overview
Assist design, construction observation, and project work for water/municipal civil projects.

Tasks
-Assist Project Managers in design and construction of private development site design, sit grading, city streets, city water and sewer infrastructure, and municipal facilities -Occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull light to moderate amounts of weight. -Occasionally climb, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist. -Perform construction observation and administration on water and municipal related projects -May be required to wear Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) including but not limited to, flame resistant clothing, hard hat, and protective footwear. -Assist professional surveyors with field work on crews performing data gathering for designs or construction staking -Assist Project Manager with the development and preparation of plans, specifications, and estimates -Assist in preparation of technical reports

What You Bring
-Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field -AutoCAD Civil 3D experience -Occasional travel to off-site locations including occasional overnight stays out of town -Ability to travel as required -All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulation -Fundamentals in Engineering certified -Ability to walk up to 3-miles on uneven terrain. -Ability to inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects. -Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time. -May require lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds, with rare lifting of up to 50 pounds. -2+ years' experience working on civil engineering related projects -Strong written and oral communication skills -May be required to travel to off-site locations including occasional overnight stays out of town.
