Tasks

NOVA Engineering & Environmental seeks a Roadway Testing Technician to perform field and laboratory testing for GDOT roadway construction projects in the Atlanta, GA metropolitan area. This role reports to NOVA's Transportation department and ensures materials meet GDOT specifications and supports quality assurance efforts. -Follow safety protocols and GDOT quality control procedures. -Perform density, moisture, and strength tests in the field and lab. -Accurately document and report test results to project managers and clients. -Maintain and calibrate testing equipment per GDOT standards. -Conduct acceptance sampling and testing of asphalt, concrete, aggregates, and soils.

-Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. -High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred. -ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician – Level I -Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions. -GDOT Roadway Testing Technician (RTT) -Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
