Design Engineer creates and improves delivery station layouts and processes.

Tasks

-Provide process expertise on engineering design, including material flow, labor placement, conveyors, operations modules, packaging profiles, and site layout. -Build, develop, review, and release designs for new delivery stations and station capacity enhancements. -Facilitate cross-functional project-specific reviews to collaborate on design solutions. -Implement new design standards in collaboration with World Wide Design, Safety, Process Engineering, and other teams. -Support new expansion, retrofit, and process improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and capacity. -Collaborate with Design Managers, CAD drafters, Real Estate Transaction managers, and other relevant teams to ensure project success. -Implement new template designs and process improvements into standard designs.

What You Bring

-Experience in time studies, industrial and continuous improvement, and workflow analysis. -Experience with process and workflow improvements. -Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent industrial and operations background. -Strong Process Engineering and Project Management skills. -Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, MS Visio, and Solidworks. -Background in industrial engineering or building design. -3 to 5 years of experience in process and building layout design and development, preferably in a fast-paced industrial, logistics, distribution, fulfillment, or production/manufacturing environment. -Proficiency in project management and construction. -High level of written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. -Experience with AutoCAD for CAD design. -Ability to build strong working relationships with business partners and key stakeholders.
