Overview

Troubleshoot, install, program, and maintain industrial electrical controls and drives.

Tasks

-Assist in justification of new equipment. -Develop, manage, and implement small capital projects, major repairs and maintenance projects. -Be installing, programming, and troubleshooting AC drives, DC drives and AB Logix5000 series Programmable Logic Controllers. -Interface with other manufacturing departments to address and resolve technical issues. -Adhere to Arconic EH&S, quality, continuous improvement, and other company policies. -Work together with craft employees. -Assist with and coordinate lockout/tagout safety procedures. -Design of manufacturing processes and procedures. -Respond to trouble calls on a 24/7 basis. -Be involved with continuous improvement initiatives of manufacturing methods. -Act as direct support of the Maintenance Organization and Process Engineering. -Act as a resource for technical guidance to manufacturing personnel.

What You Bring

-Proficient problem solving and creative thinking skills. -5 years of experience with working knowledge of manufacturing processes and principles. -Minimum of 5 years of experience with electrical systems and controls utilized in industrial applications. -High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution. -Note: This position will require frequent shift and weekend line/maintenance support. -Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. -Ability to work with cross-functional teams. -5 years’ experience in product and process failure analysis and an understanding of world class manufacturing techniques such as lean manufacturing, FMEA, RCM SPC, TQM, etc. -Strong written and oral communications skills. -Familiarity with instrumentation including HART communications. -Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. -Strong maintenance background. -Controls or technical certification -Associates or bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline

Benefits

-This role can include up to 10% of travel. This role is eligible for relocation benefits. This role reports to the Maintenance Area Coordinator.
