The Role

Overview

Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems for commercial & residential properties.

Tasks

-Responsible for all preventive maintenance, necessary maintenance and minor repairs to the HVAC systems on commercial and residential properties. Must have working knowledge of building mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems to ensure proper operations. -Conduct periodic general preventative maintenance on HVAC systems. This includes normal lubrication, adjustment, cleaning, replacement of consumable parts (filters, indicator lights, etc) and periodic testing of equipment. -Install new HVAC systems in both residential and commercial properties, ensure proper operation and function. -Perform all assigned work so as to ensure the safety of the building occupants and insure continuous operation.

What You Bring

-Prepare and maintain maintenance logs and records. Familiarity with preventative maintenance and work order software systems. -Ability to regularly climb stairs and ladders -Ability to be a team player -Company Provided iPad or Laptop (dependent on company requirements) -Knowledge of all commercial HVAC equipment (AHUs, VAVs, etc.) -Proficient in computer, text, and email skills -Strong work ethic and pride in work quality -Ability to pass a Fit for Duty Screening -HVAC Certification -Willingness to work overtime as and when needed -Basic knowledge of electrical, HVAC, and mechanical skills -Ability to handle multiple projects and make decisions using FMM's core values of Quality, Teamwork, Integrity, Safety, and Versatility -Ability to lift 20-50 pounds -Ability to utilize iPad for work order distribution, teams meeting, email, etc. -High School Diploma -HVAC diagnostic and troubleshooting, maintenance, and installation skills -Able to install and perform preventative and repair maintenance on generators. -EPA Section 608 Certifications: Type 1, 2 and 3 (Type 4 is not required but is desired) -Five (5) years previous experience -Ability to work indoors and outdoors in hot or cold temperatures
