Overview

Operate shuttle buggy to transport materials for asphalt paving, ensuring safety.

Tasks

-Must perform pre- and post-operation walk around inspections and report any mechanical issues that need more attention by maintenance personnel -access or use the online application process and need an alternative method for applying -Must receive and execute directions from the Paving Foreman or Superintendent. -Must safely operate equipment in and in the midst of active traffic. -Must operate the transfer machine in coordination with the dump man and Paver Operator to match the material inflow, on-board storage and material discharge to the paver to meet the prescribed mix and laydown goals, facilitating non-stop paving. -Provide own transportation to and from work. -Must keep equipment clean, lubricated, and in good working order, including good housekeeping. -complete any part of the application process

What You Bring

-Must be at least 18 years of age. -Must be able to provide proper documentation that you have the legal right to work in the United States. -Must have the ability to operate the vehicle safely in job site situations and follow the policies and procedures of the company. -Minimum of 1-3 months of work-related experience and/or training. -Driving License (preferred). -Must have a basic knowledge of abilities and limitations of the machine in all applications. -Must have a basic knowledge of the mechanics and hydraulics, and the limitations of the machine. -Must be able to work day or night shifts. -High School Diploma or GED (preferred), but not necessarily required. -Must have skills to conduct an inspection checklist on equipment such as tracks, lights, brakes, fuel, oil and water.
