Design and manage CAD/Revit models for cableway transportation projects.

Tasks

-Coordinate with various stakeholders, including contractors and consultants, to support the successful execution of design projects. -Participate in project meetings to provide design updates and communicate effectively with project teams. -Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of QIC's systems, processes, and practices, considering international best practices. -Create and manage 2D and 3D models using AutoCAD and Revit for the Cableway System, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications. -Conduct design reviews to identify and mitigate potential design conflicts and issues, ensuring a collaborative design process. -Ensure the implementation and management of a Common Data Environment (CDE) to international standards through Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC). -Produce drawings and graphics for the team as required. -Support the development of design calculations, reports, and specifications for the Cableway transportation system. -Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to integrate structural, mechanical, and electrical components into cohesive designs for transport systems. -Update and maintain CAD drawings and Revit models to reflect modifications and ensure accurate project documentation. -Upskill team members on CAD and Revit best practices and workflows. -Ensure the assurance and quality checking of the information within the team. -Implement BIM procedures in line with ISO 19650 standards during design, construction, and handover phases for assigned assets. -Manage the Aconex information system on behalf of the team, ensuring compliance with QIC procedures and team requirements.

What You Bring

-Experience in the design and documentation of transportation systems, specifically cableway systems, is highly desirable. -A professional license from a recognized licensing or registration board is highly preferred. -Proven experience as a CAD / REVIT Specialist, preferably in transportation or infrastructure-related projects. -Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs, with the ability to prioritize workloads and meet tight deadlines. -Minimum of 5-8+ years of experience in BIM roles, preferably within transportation or large-scale infrastructure projects. -Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects, demonstrating strong organizational skills. -Familiarity with other design software (e.g., Civil 3D, Navisworks) is a plus. -Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders. -Must be able to review and understand project documents for technical accuracy and quality to ensure adherence to project plan. -Knowledge of relevant codes and standards pertinent to the discipline and project location. -Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Transportation Engineering, Computer Science or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred. -Experience working in Saudi Arabia and/or the Gulf region is highly preferred. -Proactive and delivery-focused, with a strong ability to align stakeholders around a common vision. -Skilled in stakeholder engagement and collaboration. -Thorough knowledge of discipline engineering techniques, the design of engineered systems and design calculations. -Excellent visualization and drafting skills with an eye for detail and accuracy. -Proactive and detail-oriented, with a strong ability to manage complex design workflows. -Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software, with a solid understanding of modeling, drawing standards, and best practices. -Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken, with excellent technical writing skills as well as oral and written communication skills. -Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. -Certification in BIM Management or equivalent, with strong knowledge of ISO 19650 standards. -Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making. -Demonstrated experience in BIM processes, ISO 19650 standards, and tools such as Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and Aconex for Common Data Environment (CDE) management.
