Overview
Operate hydrovac equipment/trucks, safely excavate utilities, and support construction projects.

Tasks
-Preparing work areas by setting up safety measures and addressing potential hazards -Documenting and reporting all Badger, Federal, Provincial, and Customer paperwork accurately and efficiently -Performing routine inspections and minor repairs of the hydrovac equipment -Attending safety meetings -Driving our hydrovac trucks (10-15% of total work time) -Operating hydrovac equipment and performing hydrovac duties in a variety of working environments, including confined spaces

What You Bring
-Must be willing to travel up to 25% -Preferred experience driving a manual transmission (10-18 speed) without automatic restrictions -Candidates must undergo a physical examination and complete pre-employment screenings such as driver’s abstract review and drug and alcohol test -Must have Valid 1, 3 or DZ license (A-D license in Ontario) with airbrake endorsement -Customer Service Focused and comfortable with customer interaction -Must be able to lift, push, pull 50+ pounds and have the physical stamina for manual labor in varying weather conditions -Ability to work variable shifts with extended hours -Technology adept -First aid, Ground Disturbance and CSTS preferred (other safety tickets including but not limited to Fall protection, H2S alive and Confined Spaces may also be required depending on location) -Prior hydrovac equipment operation or related industrial experience preferred
