Tasks
-Support research and evidence-gathering to inform client recommendations and internal capability building. -Prepare clear, well-structured technical deliverables such as data summaries, report sections and presentation materials. -Communicate effectively with clients and project partners at an appropriate level, under guidance from senior colleagues. -Support delivery efficiency through good organisation, quality and communication. -Participate in internal knowledge-sharing and team learning sessions -Help identify opportunities to improve project delivery, client experience or internal tools and systems. -Plan and manage own workload across multiple projects, providing progress updates and identifying risks to delivery. -Apply working knowledge of LCA principles and tools (e.g. SimaPro, GaBi, OpenLCA, Excel) to carry out data analysis and modelling. -Support the preparation of client-ready deliverables and help ensure outputs are aligned with client expectations. -Maintain accurate project records and track time using internal systems. -Deliver assigned LCA tasks under the guidance of senior colleagues in line with ISO 14040/14044 standards and Ricardo’s quality frameworks. -Contribute to proposals and bids under the supervision of senior team members. -Contribute to client meetings, workshops and presentations as required. -Contribute to project documentation, data management and quality assurance processes. -Maintain approximately 85% utilisation on project delivery. -Contribute to the development and application of LCA methodologies, databases and analytical frameworks. -Take ownership of personal development, building expertise in LCA tools, standards and applications. -Support data collection, validation, and interpretation in accordance with ISO 14040/44 standards. -Support the delivery of LCA projects across a range of sectors and applications, ensuring work is completed to high technical and quality standards. -Seek feedback and apply learning to improve technical quality and delivery skills.

What You Bring
-Practical experience in conducting LCAs, ideally within a consultancy, research or industry setting. -Familiarity with one or more LCA software tools such as SimaPro, GaBi or OpenLCA. -Interest in data visualisation and communication of complex results (e.g. Power BI, Tableau). -Understanding of environmental product declarations (EPDs) and product footprinting standards. -Collaborative and adaptable, with the ability to work effectively as part of multi-disciplinary teams. -Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant technical or environmental discipline. -Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. -Working knowledge of LCA standards and methodologies (ISO 14040/44, EN 15804, PAS 2050). -Awareness of current and emerging sustainability and regulatory frameworks (e.g. EU Green Deal, CSRD). -Ability to communicate technical findings clearly, both in writing and verbally. -Awareness of sustainability and circular economy principles and their relevance to LCA. -Experience with automation, data handling or scripting languages (e.g. Python, R, Excel VBA). -Proficiency in Excel for data management and analysis. -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with good attention to detail.
