As Director of QA/QC, you will lead and manage the development of a national quality program that reflects industry-leading standards and prioritizes continuous improvement. This role calls for deep expertise in Building Science, along with active involvement in industry organizations and leadership roles. You’ll be instrumental in building scalable QA/QC strategies across diverse market sectors, supporting the company’s ambitious growth and commitment to excellence.

  • Holds leadership roles in industry organizations and contributes to internal training and best practices development.
  • Leads national QA/QC programs with a focus on code compliance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide expert guidance on building envelope systems, including moisture control, thermal performance, and fire/sound-rated assemblies.
  • Support the development of enterprise-wide quality dashboards and insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Conduct expert-level field investigations and reporting to support internal analysis and dispute resolution.
  • Contribute to internal training and industry education by authoring best practices and technical content.
  • Develop and implement Envelope Commissioning (Cx) programs, inspection protocols, and mock-up testing procedures.
  • Create field inspection protocols focused on operational excellence and aligned with project-specific contract documents.
  • Lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary team of Quality Program Managers and Inspectors across multiple regions.
  • Oversee field inspections and consulting services to ensure compliance with national and local codes.

  • Active member of ASTM, ASQ, IIBEC, ABA, ICC, and the Air Barrier Association of America.
  • Proficient in thermal imaging, water and concrete testing, and forensic analysis.
  • 15 + years of proven leadership in QA/QC, specializing in building envelope systems and construction quality management.
  • ASQ Certified Construction Quality Manager, IIBEC Registered Roof Observer (RRO), EIMA/AWCI Certified EIFS Professional, International Firestop Council Special Inspector, OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety, Procore Certified (Quality & Safety).
